Thanksgiving at Camelback

Celebrate and Give Thanks

Posted November 11, 2014

It is good to give thanks to the Lordto sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night, to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre. For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy. — Psalm 92:1-4

Flag Football at 8:30 am, PCDS Field
Thanksgiving Service at 10:30 am, Room 209

Camelback Bible Church’s annual epic battle for the Bronze Bird returns on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27 at 8:30 am across Stanford Dr at Phoenix Country Day School’s field. The Young Bucks (Under-35’s) will take on the Not-So-Young Bucks (35-And-Overs) as this legendary battle provides another year of bragging rights to the victors. Football participants, please arrive early to warm up (7:30 – 7:45 am). Spectators are welcome!

We’ll also enjoy a potluck breakfast (competition breeds healthy appetites, right?), so bring something to share.

Following the game, we will gather as a family for a casual Praise and Thanksgiving service in Room 209.

For more information, contact Gina in the church office at (602) 955-6370.
