And I Saw A New Heaven

3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Featuring the Camelback Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra
Held in the Sanctuary
Free and open to the public

Camelback Bible Church’s Spring Concert And I Saw A New Heaven draws from music inspired by the book of Revelation.  The repertoire will include Manz’s contemplative E’en So, Lord Jesus, Quickly Come, Wilberg’s exuberant arrangement of Saints Bound for Heaven, Bainton’s captivating setting of Revelation 21 titled And I Saw A New Heaven, and Rutter’s expressive setting of the Requiem. Rutter’s Requiem, the featured work on the program, was written shortly after his father passed and Rutter wanted a piece that was both accessible as well as one where we could weave our own thoughts, feelings, and experiences through the text and music of the Requiem. Come and reflect upon the truth we find in God’s Word through the beautiful choral singing of the Sanctuary Choir.
