GIFT – Glorifying God in Fellowship Together
GIFT provides a relaxed time each quarter for women at Camelback Bible Church to get to know each other, step away from life’s daily press, learn more about God and His workings among us, and get new ideas for reaching our “Jerusalem” and beyond. Each quarter’s gathering begins with conversation around a delicious meal, usually a themed potluck, followed by worship and a special speaker in the sanctuary. Annually, we meet at Hope Women’s Center in Phoenix to serve women in our community with a work project. Table service, beverages, and childcare are provided. Bring a dish to share!
2018 Seasons of GIFT:
- WINTER: January 25, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- SPRING: April 26, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- SUMMER: July 26, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- FALL: September 27, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Each spring the women get away for a time of relaxation, fellowship, and encouragement in the Word.
Every year in early December, women from our church and their friends and family members gather together to hear a gospel message in the context of the Christmas season, accompanied by a festive brunch and time of fellowship. Many people join in by sharing their musical abilities, serving and cooking, hosting tables, welcoming guests, assisting with technical needs, decorating, planning, and much more.
Stay tuned for 2018 date!
Titus 2 Discipleship
Based on Titus 2:3-5, this discipleship opportunity provides for one-on-one relationships between older women and younger women, encouraging growth to God’s glory.
