And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:9-10
The phrase “angel tree” has become synonymous with helping those in need during the holiday season. Our Angel Tree at Camelback Bible Church will once again benefit a most worthy organization, the Hope Women’s Center.
By selecting an angel from the tree located in the CBC lobby and purchasing the items listed, you will directly fill the needs of women and children in crisis situations being served at one of the Hope Women’s Center’s three locations.
“We have all experienced times of pain and darkness in our lives,” says CBC member and Hope Women’s Center Executive Director. “At Hope Women’s Center, we get the privilege of coming alongside hurting women and teen girls, loving them right where they are, and pointing them to the true source of Healing and Hope. What a great joy to watch God transform brokenness into beauty in women’s lives!”
How can I help?
1. Select an angel from the tree and purchase items needed for HWC. On Sundays, November 23 & 30, select an angel from the tree in the CBC lobby. Purchase the items listed on the angel and return them to the CBC lobby on Sundays, November 30 & December 7.
2. Provide cookies for the Family Christmas Party. Cookie donations will be collected in the CBC lobby on Sundays, November 30 & December 7 along with the angel tree items.
3. Attend the Family Christmas Party! Offer your support and encouragement to the women and children being served at Hope Women’s Center at either of the parties (10:00 am or 12:00 noon) on Thursday, December 11.
